Backstory: Briar was an orphan that had been chosen by Queen Lunaria to work as a servant in her palace. Lunaria was a cruel and cold person who saw only the ugliness and the evil in everyone. At first, Lunaria treated Briar as she would any other servant. She was cold towards her but didn't treat her too harshly since she was only a child. But as Briar got older, she grew to be a beautiful young woman. Everyone grew smitten with Briar, including Lunaria. But soon, her desire to have Briar grew and she wanted her as her own but she couldn't find it in herself to talk to her. Lunaria started treating her more kindly and her cold heart seemed to melt a bit. Briar fell for Lunaria and they started a relationship. But Briar was attacked by one of the servants and raped. When Lunaria found out, she was angered and froze the servant to death but she accidently froze Briar too. She took Briar to the healers and they were able to heal her but she developed new powers and abilities similar to Lunaria. Lunaria marked her and made Briar her queen.
